PoliPsych.com Exploring Political Attitudes Through Moral Psychology

Thank you for your interest in working with our yourmorals.org dataset. If you didn't initially read this post, you might find it helpful. Please fill out the below form and an email will be sent to Ravi Iyer. Please know that we have limited resources and so can only handle a limited number of requests, but I (Ravi) will try to get back to anyone who thoughtfully fills out this form and feel free to inquire (to ravi _at_ polipsych _dot_ com) in case I don't get back to you in a timely fashion.

Important: Please answer in a separate document and cut/paste into this form as we do not want you to lose your work due to internet glitches.

What is your main hypothesis?

Have you published in peer reviewed journals previously? If so, please include links to relevant/representative publications.

What benefits do you see to society as a whole, resulting from your project?

Have you done a literature review? How does your project fit into the existing literature?

What journal would you like to send the resulting manuscript to?

How willing would you be to include the members of the yourmorals team who helped collect this data as authors on any paper which results? This typically will include 1-3 people who will work with you to create a data file, though this somewhat depends on which measures are used. It is not a requirement, but definitely helps motivate us, for better or worse. Any of us who are given authorship will typically also help edit the final manuscript.

Would it use existing data that we have likely already collected or would you need new measures to be collected? If you need new data collected, please describe the data you need. If you are using data we already have, please describe the data you want to analyze.

What statistical techniques would you propose using on this data?

Is there anything else we should know in evaluating your proposal?
